OUR BORDERS SEMINAR
TO PROVIDE EXPORT INFORMATION
March 14, 2014 Sydney, Nova Scotia Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation
Beyond Our Borders – Cape Breton’s Export Potential is a
day-long seminar that will feature sessions on the European Union and the Comprehensive
Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) as well as programs and resources available
to exporters, information on market entry strategies and one- on-one sessions
with trade program agencies.
The seminar, which is sponsored by Enterprise Cape Breton
Corporation (ECBC), the Cape Breton Partnership and Nova Scotia Community
College is intended for existing and potential exporters. It is scheduled for
Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Membertou Trade and Convention Centre. Registration
starts at 8:00 a.m.
The Beyond Our Borders conference will provide Cape Breton companies a chance to learn information related to the new Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union.
There will also be information on various programs to assist new and seasoned exporters with market research, market entry strategies, internships and much more.
The event will also feature a new series of Exporter Awards for Cape Breton Island companies.
The cost of the session is $40 (including lunch).

Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation is a
federal Crown corporation offering programs in support of commercial
development, community development, environmental stewardship and real property
development on Cape Breton Island and in the Mulgrave area. It is also
